Installing the TransPak
Here's the THM350 trans ready to get a shift kit.
We're going to install a B&M TransPak.
We've chosen the Street/Strip performance option.
The instructions say to locate the widget arm on the maniform.
Is it the one that looks like a pretzel or the other doohickey?
Is that the 1-2 accumulator or the defibrilator?
It says to check your balls.
"Hey! There's a rat in that maze!"
Actually it's just proof that the rats won the rat race.
"Hello B&M support?"
"Does it matter if you drill the holes in the wrong places? No? Great!"
Well, all's well that ends well.
The TransPak's installed and a new tranny mount is bolted on.
We even remembered to install a drain plug.
Note: The tranny worked without a hitch. The TransPak gives nice, firm shifts.
It was well worth the effort.
