Getting ready for the 400 motor
We rented a power washer and Gayle washed every square inch of the engine bay.
Ray got to do the underside...I wonder who got the better end of that deal?
I can tell you who lost the water fight. It's hard to squirt somebody when she has
the power washer and all you have is the camera.
We put the beast on stands and then painted then engine bay, frame and entire
underside with POR-15. We better NEVER see any rust...ever...I mean NEVER.
Ya know...you put on rubber gloves and a long sleeved-shirt. It still doesn't help.
You're gonna get covered in paint. Next time I'm gonna borrow an old space suit from NASA or something.
And when the wife sees what a mess you are..oh-oh...
I don't think I'm gonna like the results of this.
He really gets into his hotrodding...
He's finishing the POR-15 in the engine bay
One new V8 motor mount is installed on the left side.
The old V6 mount is still on the right side.
Lowering the control arms to get the V6 mounts out is a real pain in the ass.
